Our Morocco By Chance romance retreat invites you to a private riad-style villa just outside Marrakech, your sanctuary of gardens, courtyards and poolside quiet in one of the most culture-rich regions of the country.
Over 3 Nights, we will adventure through the Agafay Desert at golden hour, be guided through the sights and smells of the Marrakech’s medinas, palaces and gardens, indulge in traditional hammam rituals, and long, lantern-lit dinners with a group of likeminded people.

Marrakech, long considered the jewel of Morocco, is one of the most vibrant and sensory cities in the world. Within its ancient walls, the UNESCO-listed medina unfolds in a maze of spice-laden souks, tiled courtyards, and palaces wrapped in carved cedar and zellige tile. Calls to prayer drift over terracotta rooftops, lanterns glow in narrow alleyways, and just beyond the city, the rocky Agafay Desert and distant Atlas Mountains offer wide horizons and dramatic sunsets.
This is a place where culture is lived as much as it is admired. Traditional hammams, hidden riads, and lush gardens sit alongside design-forward restaurants and rooftop bars. Moroccan cuisine takes centre stage: slow-cooked tagines, fragrant couscous, pastilla, grilled meats, and salads layered with herbs, citrus, and spice, often shared family-style around low tables. From time-honoured street food stalls to refined riad dining, Marrakech has become a destination for travellers who come as much for its culinary and cultural depth as for its beauty and romance.

Tucked in the countryside just outside Marrakech, this sprawling private riad-style villa feels like its own estate: palm trees, terracotta walls, and a long south-facing pool with wide open views of the Atlas Mountains.
Inside, you wander through Moroccan salons and bedrooms dressed in carved wood, arched doorways, lanterns, patterned tiles, and Berber textiles, with courtyards and terraces offering space to connect as a group or disappear with a book.
On-site staff take care of everything from traditional Moroccan meals to massages and beauty treatments, with long tables set in the garden, by the pool, or in one of the lounges for lantern-lit dinner parties and celebrations that can easily run late into the night.

The Agafay Desert is all pale, stony hills and wide open sky, a rocky expanse that ripples toward the horizon with the Atlas Mountains floating in the distance like a painted backdrop. As the sun drops, light spills over the stone and turns everything to gold before the sky slips into soft rose and deep blue.
It feels otherworldly here. Camels and 4x4s move slowly across the plateau, lanterns glow to life around desert camps, and the air cools enough to make you inch closer to the fire. It feels wild and cinematic, the kind of landscape where conversations run deeper, time stretches, and a hint of desert romance never feels out of place.

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Welcome home!
After your arrival and transfer to our private villa, you’ll settle into your room, wander the gardens, and ease into the evening with a welcome aperitif as you meet the other guests.
As night falls, we’ll gather for our first lantern lit dinner party at the villa, with a multi course Moroccan inspired feast, flowing wine, and long conversation around the table. The perfect setting to meet our incredible group.

Day 2: Marrakech Medina & Hammam Spa
After breakfast at the villa, we’ll head into Marrakech for a guided wander through the medina: spice-filled souks, hidden courtyards, and ornate palaces that show off the city’s rich history and beauty. We will pause for lunch at an authentic restaurant.
Retreating from the busy medina, we will then indulge in a traditional hammam for steam, black soap scrub, and the option to add a massage or treatment for a full body reset. As evening falls, we’ll gather for an authentic villa Moroccan dinner, sharing stories from the day over classic dishes and good wine.

Day 3: Agafay Desert & Goodbye Dinner
After a slow breakfast at the villa, the morning and early afternoon are yours to drift between the pool, the gardens, and unhurried conversations.
In the afternoon, we will head out to the Agafay Desert, watching golden hour and it’s light soften over the rocky hills, where we’ll settle into a desert camp for multi-course dinner under the stars, with music, drinks, to celebrate the last few days. It’s the kind of night that feels cinematic.

We love you! We will miss you! Savour the last moments (for now) with your Nomad Home family as you continue on to your next adventure. We will drop you back off at the Marrakech airport and count down the days until we see you again.

For our 8 day retreats, all guests will have free time during the day to work as they please as most activities are in the evening or weekend.
For our 4 day retreats, activities will be throughout the day so there will only be pockets of work time. Of course, you can participate as you prefer and if you have specific schedule accommodations, please email (admin@nomad-home.com)

Yes. Please send us an email and indicate what room you’d like, who you would like to be in the room with, and we will take it into consideration in the selection phase.

Private pick-up and drop-off will be organized at the airport indicated in the itinerary.
Transportation is organized from that specific location, if you have a custom request, we will try our best to help coordinate; subject to additional cost.

Yes, the minimum age is 21 years old for all stays.

Please verify the entrance requirements for your respective country. Many countries are able to have a tourist visa issued at no charge upon arrival. When entering the country, we suggest selecting ‘vacation’ on the immigration form and using the villa’s address; provided at the time of booking.

All tours will have transportation included. If you wish to have your own transportation during weekdays, you can rent a car or bike for personal use.

We can always accommodate no-alcohol and will try our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, however, we require time to plan the options with food/tour providers.

If cancelling a booking within 48 hours of placing your booking you will receive a full refund. Please note, the 24 hour period begins when you place your initial booking.
Cancellation after this period incurs cancellation fees, depending on how far in advance you cancel.
If cancelling within:
90 days of the retreat start date - the 1500€ deposit is non-refundable
Within 60 days of the retreat start date - 50% is non-refundable
45 days of the retreat start date - 100% non-refundable
