Our France Michelin Retreat invites you to stay on the iconic Château de Chambord estate, a breathtaking 16th century Renaissance masterpiece with 5,440-hectares that was once a retreat for French Kings. This tailored Nomad Home experience offers a fresh perspective on France, blending luxury, history, and French gastronomy.
The experience will include an exclusive private cooking class with 2* Star Michelin Chef Christophe Hay and his team, a private tour of an award-winning winery with lunch among the vineyards, and tasting menus from the region’s best restaurants.

The Loire Valley, often called the 'Garden of France,' is renowned for its stunning châteaux, picturesque vineyards, and rich history. It's famous for producing some of France's best wines, particularly Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, and for being the birthplace of the French Renaissance.
The valley's charming towns, like Tours and Amboise, and its cultural heritage make it a UNESCO World Heritage site. Additionally, it is known for its historical significance, as it was a favored residence of French kings and aristocracy.
In addition to world-class wines, Michelin-starred restaurants are a staple of the region, showcasing refined French cuisine using the finest local ingredients. Renowned chefs like Jean-Marc Basset, who holds Michelin stars in the Loire Valley, offer dishes that highlight the region's culinary heritage. CChâteau de Chambord, located in the Loire Valley, France, was commissioned by King François I in the 16th century as a hunting lodge. This Renaissance masterpiece blends medieval and classical French architectural styles and is renowned for its distinctive French gardens and double-helix staircase, which some believe was designed by Leonardo da Vinci.
The château's grandeur and its role in French royal history have made it a symbol of power and elegance, with it becoming the largest Renaissance castle in the Loire Valley.
We will be staying in the only open residence on the château’s vast 5,440-hectare private estate, now transformed into a boutique hotel.

At his 2* Star Michelin restaurant, Fleur de Loire, Chef Hay crafts extraordinary dining experiences that celebrate the best of the valley’s produce, from its prized fish and caviar to its exceptional vegetables and herbs. The restaurant, built within a 17th century royal palace turned hotel, is one of the region’s most celebrated.
During our Nomad Home retreat, you’ll have the exclusive opportunity to step into Chef Christophe Hay’s kitchen for a Private Michelin Cooking Class. Under his expert guidance, you’ll learn the art of preparing refined dishes with world-class techniques, the best of French cuisine.
Château Winery: 12th Generation Castle & Winery Tour with Vineyard Lunch
The Loire Valley is renowned for its exceptional wine production, and winery partner is a prime example of this legacy. This award-winning, organic family vineyard has been built on the castle grounds owned by the same family for 12 generations.
The Château itself is a testament to the family’s deep roots in the region, blending centuries of history with a passion for fine wine. Our visit will include a tour of the vineyards and historic cellars, learning about the sustainable farming practices, and culminates in a relaxed lunch among the vines, where you’ll savor their best wines paired with delicious, locally inspired dishes.

Welcome home! After your pick-up from Paris Orly Airport (ORY), you’ll arrive at the enchanting Château hotel, where you can unwind and refresh before the night ahead.
As the evening unfolds, your retreat begins with a warm welcome dinner, sharing a gourmet tasting menu at an exceptional Michelin Guide restaurant. With a breathtaking view of the iconic Château de Chambord as your backdrop, you’ll connect with your new family of fellow travelers with wine flowing through the night.

Day 2: Private 2* Michelin Chef Cooking Class & Château Walk
Start your day with a delicious resort breakfast and prepare to begin an exclusive private cooking class led by 2-star Michelin Chef Christophe Hay and his talented team.
You’ll then enjoy the fruits of your labor with a lunch at the 2-star Michelin restaurant with wine.
In the afternoon, you’ll have a chance to explore the Château and grounds at your own pace before we head to a traditional brasserie dinner.

Day 3: Award-Winning Winery Day & Goodbye Dinner
Waking up to a relaxing resort breakfast, you’ll be led to an award-winning organic family vineyard and château winery for a private tour.
The tour will include a visit of our cellar, where the wines are aged in French oak casks, followed by a wine tasting in the historic tasting room and then an al fresco lunch overlooking the vineyard.
After returning to the resort, feel free to spend the late afternoon relaxing before we end the night with a Goodbye Family Dinner in a nearby medieval town.

You have until Mar 1st to book a retreat without purchasing a Yearly Membership. After this time, a Membership is needed for all bookings.

Transportation, daily breakfast, all activities and meals in the itinerary, and additional Wifi.
Flights are not included.

For our 8 day retreats, all guests will have free time during the day to work as they please as most activities are in the evening or weekend.
For our 4 day retreats, activities will be throughout the day so there will only be pockets of work time. Of course, you can participate as you prefer and if you have specific schedule accommodations, please email (admin@nomad-home.com)

Yes. Please send us an email and indicate what room you’d like, who you would like to be in the room with, and we will take it into consideration in the selection phase.

The trip pick-up and drop-off will be at the Bordeaux airport, a 2 hour drive from our villa. Transportation is organized from that specific location, if you have a custom request, we will try our best to help coordinate; subject to additional cost.

Yes, the minimum age is 21 years old for all stays.

Please verify the entrance requirements for your respective country. Many countries are able to have a tourist visa issued at no charge upon arrival. When entering the country, we suggest selecting ‘vacation’ on the immigration form and using the villa’s address; provided at the time of booking.

There is a village about a 15 minutes walk away with the daily essentials, grocery, and restaurants. All tours will have transportation included. If you wish to have your own transportation during weekdays, you can rent a car or bike for personal use.

If cancelling a booking within 48 hours of placing your booking you will receive a full refund. Please note, the 24 hour period begins when you place your initial booking.
Cancellation after this period incurs cancellation fees, depending on how far in advance you cancel.
If cancelling within:
90 days of the retreat start date - the 1500€ deposit is non-refundable
Within 60 days of the retreat start date - 50% is non-refundable
45 days of the retreat start date - 100% non-refundable
