This picturesque village, set amidst rolling hills and lush valleys, exudes charm with its historic architecture and Romanesque churches. Like a scene from a medieval fairytale, Capmany's medieval streets and fortified buildings evoke a sense of timeless beauty.
Once a key battleground during Spain's tumultuous past, the town now stands as a testament to resilience and cultural richness, earning its place as a hidden gem in the region.
Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the town captures the best of Catalan cuisine and wine culture. Capmany, Catalonia, is a hidden culinary gem near the Mediterranean coast, famed for its sophisticated dining scene, and for many years been considered among the best food destinations in the world.
The city gained global recognition thanks to the acclaimed Roca Brothers and their 3 Michelin-starred Cellar de Can Roca. Unlike typical Spanish cities, Capmany favors leisurely meals over tapas, offering delightful dishes like Mediterranean fish stews and inventive meat specialties such as Fricando stew.
It is also a famed wine producing region, where locals have refined tastes, enjoying wines from the local D.O. Empordà region, especially the renowned Garnacha varieties.
A visit to Capmany promises an unforgettable culinary journey, showcasing the region's culinary mastery and elevated dining experiences.

OUR NOMAD HOME FAMILY
-
Charlotte
CO-FOUNDER of HANDS London
My favourite thing about Nomad Home is being able to connect with a large group of people from all over the world. I usually make friends slowly but when you spend so much time with a group of people, you become extremely close very quickly. That has been rare in my adult life and something I’ll always treasure. I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime - we have already planned a few meetups since.
-
Laurie
FOUNDER of Outsourceful
Running my own business can get lonely and repetitive at times so it was refreshing to be able to travel, cowork, and bounce ideas with a group of founders. Although many of us were from different countries, it was surprising how much we had in common. I’ve been to multiple Nomad Home events now and the London events were a great way to meet people in my home city. There are 4 of us that met that have already set up monthly dinners; we really left as a family.
-
Andrea
PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER and CONTENT CREATOR
I’ve remote worked for 5 years and found that it’s been difficult to find people that love luxury travel and have a flexible lifestyle. Nomad Home has given me a community to grow together personally and professionally with, when I honestly didn’t realize I could make these deep of connections of my adult life. What’s better is I got to do it while wine tasting and dinner partying.
-
Jesse
CO-FOUNDER of BLA Design Group and FOUNDER of Adessa Visuals
I work a lot, which means I don’t have much time to get away, socialize, or plan travel itineraries. Nomad Home has made it easy for me to just show up, enjoy unique activities and dinner parties that are off the beaten path, and connect with interesting people working on cool projects I would have never met otherwise. It was even better that I got to do all of it while getting my work done.
