Loire Valley: France’s Historic & Culinary Masterpiece
-
The Loire Valley, often called the 'Garden of France,' is renowned for its stunning châteaux, picturesque vineyards, and rich history. It's famous for producing some of France's best wines, particularly Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc, and for being the birthplace of the French Renaissance.
The valley's charming towns, like Tours and Amboise, and its cultural heritage make it a UNESCO World Heritage site. Additionally, it is known for its historical significance, as it was a favored residence of French kings and aristocracy.
In addition to world-class wines, Michelin-starred restaurants are a staple of the region, showcasing refined French cuisine using the finest local ingredients. Renowned chefs like Jean-Marc Basset, who holds Michelin stars in the Loire Valley, offer dishes that highlight the region's culinary heritage. The Loire Valley's food culture is celebrated through festivals such as La Fête de la Gastronomie, which honors French culinary traditions.
-
The Fleur de Loire hotel is a 17th-century château originally commissioned by the Duke of Orléans, brother to King Louis XIII. Located in Blois, a town rich in royal history, the structure was part of his broader plan to assert his influence and create a luxurious estate that rivaled those of his brother, the reigning monarch.
Perched on the banks of the Loire River in Blois, this historic masterpiece blends royal heritage with contemporary luxury. It has achieved a 5 Star status, is a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux collection, and the recipient of a coveted 1 Michelin Key for its refined hospitality.
The property includes the 2* Star Michelin restaurant led by Chef Christophe Hay, an outdoor pool, a serene spa, a fitness center and panoramic views of the Loire Valley. Their other accolades include:
Relais & Châteaux Membership: Recognized for its exceptional hospitality and refined elegance.
Michelin Green Star: Honored for its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
2 Michelin Stars: Chef Christophe Hay's restaurant.
1 Michelin Key: Celebrated for its remarkable and luxurious accommodations.
La Liste New Arrival of the Year (2022): Awarded for innovation and outstanding contributions to fine dining.
Ethical & Sustainability Award: Recognized by La Liste for sustainable practices in 2025.

Laurie
FOUNDER of Outsourceful
Running my own business can get lonely and repetitive at times so it was refreshing to be able to travel, cowork, and bounce ideas with a group of founders. Although many of us were from different countries, it was surprising how much we had in common.
It's also an added bonus when I can show up, eat great food, and have every detail taken care of.
I’ve been to multiple Nomad Home events now, from Italy to London, and have met incredible people in my home city. There are 4 of us that met that have already set up monthly reunion dinners; we really left as a family.

Jenny
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE Practitioner & Nutritionist
My career requires to me to be meticulous and “on” at all times. I wanted a holiday where I could be completely hands-off. With Nomad Home, I didn’t have to make a single decision once I arrived, everything from transfers to gorgeous outdoor tasting menus were already thought through.
They built an effortless itinerary filled with private experiences I’d never have discovered on my own: private experiences at family-run vineyards, long-table dinners with regional chefs, and little moments that felt like they were designed especially for us. Every stop genuinely felt like a hidden gem and a small surprise, there was always something else around the corner.

As an entrepreneur building a business remotely, joining the Nomad Home family has been a transformative experience for me. The journey of remote work can indeed get lonely, but Nomad Home has provided a vibrant community that fills that void.
Being part of a global network of like-minded individuals who share a passion for food, unique travel experiences, and both personal and professional growth has been incredibly enriching. The curated fine food and luxury travel experience in France has not only allowed me to explore stunning locations, but also allowed me the privilege to foster lifelong connections with fellow entrepreneurs and creatives.

Adelaide
FOUNDER of AMD Creative Co.
Spending a week in a castle with Nomad Home was nothing short of a fairytale.
I was blown away by the customer service and luxury during my week-long stay in the French countryside. Despite being in a remote area, Nomad Home planned everything down to the nitty-gritty details, had Starlink Wi-Fi installed, and planned perfectly curated daily activities and culinary experiences.
I would highly recommend Nomad Home to remote workers looking for a carefully crafted luxury experience and an opportunity to meet like-minded people in an exotic location. I made so many friends who live a similar lifestyle to mine.
